Both technologies run side by side in our plant. The difference is how the ink reaches your film — and which one suits your run length.
How it prints: a steel cylinder engraved with millions of microscopic cells dips into ink; a doctor blade wipes off the excess and the cylinder transfers the ink straight onto the film, cell by cell.
How it prints: a flexible photopolymer plate with the design in relief spins on a cylinder; an anilox roller meters the exact amount of ink and the plate stamps it onto the film, like a high-precision stamp.
